A daily hockey card game. You are dealt 8 NHL players, keep 4, and a mystery call-up makes a fifth card. Your hand scores for connections between the players: teammates, draft class, consecutive draft years, a shared division, country or position. You get 5 attempts to find the best hand, and a new deal arrives every day.
How a hand scores: every pair of players on the same NHL team is worth 2, and every pair drafted in the same year is worth 2 more. Three players on one team make three pairs, so 6. Two who share a team and a draft year score 4. Bigger groups (a division, a country, a position) and a run of consecutive draft years add more.
